The annual opening programme, the Retrospective Exhibition of the Galerie de l’Ancienne Poste allows one to discover or re-discover the ceramic artists who have been the guests of the Toucy gallery over the previous year.

The choice of the work presented, most of which is made for the occasion, bears witness to the talent and the very specific universe of each artist.

Bente Hansen’s works are a thoughtful reflection on geometry and colour

Gisèle Buthod-Garçon‘s sculptures in the spirit of the territories she has been exploring for several years, where sensitivity and memory overlap.

Michael Flynn‘s work puts everything back into play every single time, to see if he can get even nearer to the essence of his thought.

Elena Gileva‘s sculpture renews the traditional practices of the material: a coil of clay is no longer the basis for the construction of a container with her, but the displayed expression of an elaborate construction.

Ann Van Hoey‘s work creates unexpected combinations and invites the spectator to reflect upon tradition and modernity.
