The Association of Friends of Galerie de l’Ancienne Poste is a non-profit organization established in 1997 in order to support the gallery project.

The Galerie de l’Ancienne Poste was founded by a group of ceramic artists and collectors. Since its inception, the gallery has worked to promote the contemporary and artistic image of ceramics by regularly inviting ceramic artists to exhibit their latest creations in Toucy, not far away from Paris, in the North Burgundy Franche-comté region of France.

Situated in a 17th Century mansion, the gallery organizes six to seven exhibitions a year, showing the most significant works in clay of world-renowned artists and promising  new talents. Galerie de l’Ancienne Poste’s permanent collection houses a selection of works by international and national ceramic artists who have strongly influenced the direction of the gallery since its creation.

With some 8,000 visitors a year, Galerie de l’Ancienne Poste is a leader in the field of contemporary ceramics in France.
